BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST

The Behavior Analyst (BA) serves as the primary therapist on the Treatment Team, coordinating all treatment services for each client on his/her caseload. The BA is responsible for clinically supervising the Behavior Health Technicians (BHT) and/or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) assigned to his/her cases.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate.

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Human Services.

Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar setting.

Prior experience working with individuals with autism strongly preferred.

Must possess personal computer knowledge and skills, including graphing and data representation.

JOB DUTIES: 

Works as the clinical leader of the clients’ treatment team in home, school, daycare and other community settings. The BA travels to these sites as needed to provide direct service.

Devises a data collection system, collects and guides others in collecting the data, analyzes the data that has been collected and uses that information to modify the individuals’ treatment.

Provides direct supervision to RBT and BHT staff, including initial and ongoing required trainings for Registered Behavior Technicians.

Completes Functional Behavior Assessments at the initiation of services with individuals and when unusual patterns of behavior develop in order to determine the function of the individuals’ behavior.

All other duties as assigned by management.
