BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST

Job Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as a consultant for program staff to ensure the highest quality of care is being provided to our youth by following the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to guide our behavioral interventions and by making data driven decisions.

Job Duties

Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and monitor proactive, individualized behavior plans Effectively model and monitor behavior plans regularly, and communicate with all program staff involved to ensure the effectiveness of the interventions Implements data collection systems to measure and analyze effectiveness of interventions Develop curriculum materials as needed to assist individuals succeed in daily programming Provide trainings on ABA, Functional Behavior Assessments, Autism, ID, scorecards, behavioral contingencies and other topics as needed Assist in the management of aggressive clients as needed, using approved de-escalation and behavior management techniques Model restraint prevention initiatives daily on the houses for program staff

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in human services field required that is applicable to BACB standards Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Previous residential experience preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Valid Driver's License required
