Amergis staffing is looking to hire a BCBA for Portland area schools. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits.
Hours: 37.5+ hours a week Start Date: ASAP Contract length: Full school year
Responsibilities:
Conducts functional behavior assessments and educational assessments, accurately identifying the function of challenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target Develops strong collaborative relationships and provides training to school staff to implement effective applied behavior analysis techniques. Provides ongoing support and training to related field staff ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth Investigates concerns and provides coaching and disciplinary action when appropriate Develops behavior goals according to the needs and abilities of the student
Qualifications
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
Requirements:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs in homes or schools Must be at least 18 years of age
