Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located in Red Hook,NY, this position is responsible for conducting individual and/or group therapy as required by the student’s IEP, developing therapy goals and methods that can be integrated into other aspects of the student’s program. They will attend and coordinate Treatment Team meetings to set treatment goals and methods, to ensure that all aspects of the student’s program are consistent with other aspects and with state and agency regulations, policies, and procedures. They will develop and oversee implementation of behavior contracts or other intervention strategies in conjunction with the Treatment Team and consult with staff on Behavior Modification and other treatment techniques in the classroom. The BCBA will work with the Case Manager to assure that treatment plans are coordinated, and that student needs are met. **Salary:** $66950 - $77147, commensurate with education and experience You deserve to work somewhere that gives back to you! BCBA required. **EXPERIENCE:** At least one year of experience working with a developmentally disabled population, or graduate study in specific treatment methods applicable to this population. Prefer experience with behavior modification and experience in a coordinating or supervisory position. Strong interpersonal skills required. Must be able to get along with many diverse personalities. Must handle detailed, complex concepts and problems and make rapid decisions. Incumbent must possess writing skills adequate to convey complex issues and concepts in a concise and intelligible manner.
