Under the direction of the Director of Special Education & Pupil Services, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will help drive meaningful change in the lives of individuals with specific developmental disabilities and support VCPS’s focus on restorative practices. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and supervising behavior intervention plans, and providing oversight to Behavior Interventionists and other direct service staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field. Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). At least 1 year of experience providing ABA services in a clinical, home, or school setting. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disorders. Proficiency in electronic data collection and ABA practice management systems. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
