**Job Title: Bobst Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Bobst Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Bobst cutting press, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency. **Responsibilities** + Adjust press to accommodate for new product sheets being cut, including setting feeder, locking up die, setting stripper, blanker, and delivery. + Assist Operator or Lead with loading dies, weighing approximately 150 lbs, into the cutting press. + Inspect quality of each load run by checking random sheets from each cut load to ensure quality. + Flag and isolate poorly produced materials when cutting problems are encountered; tag all defective loads. + Make proper corrections before continuing the order. + Remove cut loads from the press using a hand truck. + Maintain written records of production, including waste, production time, and waiting time. + Run the press as efficiently as possible. + Maintain housekeeping in the work area. + Verify materials running on the load. **Essential Skills** + Experience operating a Bobst die cutting machine. + Proficiency in machine operation, die cutting, and blueprint reading. + Inspection and quality control skills. + Ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read, understand, and follow job jacket instructions. + Knowledge of location and use of all safety devices in the area. + Coordination to perform job safely and quickly. + Experience with Bobst Cutting Press, electric hand truck, and company-provided tooling. **Why Work Here?** We offer full benefits and competitive pay, fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment.
