We are looking for an experienced Body Shop Manager to add to our growing team. Your primary duties will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Guest orders, the production floor, and all Ultimate staff (talented cabinet makers, electricians and plumbers). This includes organizing Guest information, scheduling, and chaperoning the completion of projects through the Ultimate Airstreams collaborative workflow. The Body Shop Manager will create goals and objectives for the department to ensure we are producing at peak efficiency.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

To persuade and influence a Guest to make a purchase decision (from us) sooner or later – preferably today.Lead through support and adherence to Airstream Adventures & Lithia Values, Total Guest Experience, Vision, and Purpose.Promote and enforce all Safety rules and guidelines. Immediately report any incidents, injuries or near-misses to Manager.Works cooperatively and respectfully with all Team Members, Guest, and vendors.Hire and supervise all production staff Team Members, as well as monitor their performance in servicing Guests.Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with Guests and Managers.Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary.Delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience level.Planning and organizing production schedules, while continuously assessing timescales, deadlines and production staff.Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.Assessing project and resource requirements.Maintain the highest Guest Service Index (GSI) rating from Guests by handling Guest complaints immediately and according to AANW policy.Determining quality control standards.Overseeing production processes.Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials.Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.Liaising with marketing and sales staff.Organizing relevant training sessions.Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across production lines.Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.Create goals and objectives for the department, which includes an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business.

Education and Experience Requirements

Associates Degree or similar discipline experience, preferred.2-3 years of Body Shop Management/Project Management and production experience, preferred.Valid Driver’s License with clean, insurable, driving record.Strong work ethic and organizational skills.Ability to effectively communicate with dealership Team Members and Guests alike.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions.

The estimated annual earning range for this position is ($80,000 to $110,000), which includes commissions on (Commissions –Ex: “Individual Sales and/or Individual Gross Profit”, “Department Net”) and/or bonus opportunities such as (Bonuses –Ex: “Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability”).

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
