DARCARS Automotive Group is now seeking an Experienced Body Shop Manager!

As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for developing business through insurance adjusters, customers, and other sources to achieve a projected sales volume. The Body Shop Manager will direct the activities of body shop employees in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels, and maintaining DARCARS quality standards.

In this role, you’ll:

Increase sales growth, overall gross profit and percentage, net profit and percentage, and employee retentionSet standards, communicate and establish goals to ensure and develop action plans to facilitate improvement of business performanceEstablish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjustersMonitor parts department orders to ensure timely parts availabilityMonitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followedHire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all body shop employeesPromote a team environment, communicate effectively with technicians, estimators, body shop staff and regional managementContinually improve the skill level of all personnel by facilitating training opportunities and on-the-job mentorshipMaintain the department’s safety according to applicable requirements and published procedures, including local ordinances, for dealership associates, customers, vendors and visitorsUnderstand and complete required training for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral businessEnsure that customer concerns and inquiries are handled immediately and according to company guidelinesMaintain high-quality service repairsMaintain manufacturer and ICAR certifications for the shopStay current on new information technologies to improve business and efficiencies

In this role, you’ll need:

Proven track record of successful leadership and management performanceStrong interpersonal & communication skillsMinimum of 5-8 years of automotive collision repair experienceMinimum of 3 years running a body shop preferredProficient in CCC One and Reynolds Ignite a plusProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsDegree in automotive technology, collision repair or military equivalent experience a plusMust be at least eighteen years of ageMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
