Job Description
Sand, clean, and prime vehicle surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint.Remove rust, dents, or imperfections from surfaces using tools like grinders, sanders, and fillers.Mask and tape areas that should not be painted (windows, tires, trim) to protect them from overspray.Mix and prepare paint to the correct color, texture, and consistency based on specifications or manufacturer codes.Apply paint using spray guns, ensuring an even coat and proper drying times between layers.Apply clear coats and finishing products to protect the paint and enhance the finish.Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as bubbles, runs, or uneven coverage.Polish and buff the painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.Perform touch-ups and corrective actions as needed.

Work Experience
Proven experience as an autobody painter or similar role in the automotive repair industry.Strong knowledge of different paint types, mixing techniques, and application methods.Ability to use spray guns, sanding tools, and other specialized equipment.Attention to detail and precision in color matching and paint application.Knowledge of safety procedures related to paint fumes, chemicals, and equipment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Good communication skills for working with customers and team members.
