**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring skilled **Boiler Maintenance Technicians** for projects located in and around **Kings Points, NY.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of **$30-35/hour** based on experience & skill level. If you are a Boiler Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Inspect, maintain, test, modify, adjust and repair boiler related systems, and components at USMMA + Recording systems operating conditions daily + Maintaining, repairing and replacing components as necessary for efficient operation + Cleaning nozzles and oil filters + Repacking valves + Greasing and oiling motors and other equipment + Checking and maintaining motors and ensuring proper impeller rotation + Checking and cleaning traps + Adjusting controls for safe and economic operation + Performing annual inspections, safety checks, and cleaning between May and September and include pressure testing the vessel, testing all safety components and document the results **Requirements** + Must have Boiler Operating Engineer License + Highschool diploma or GED + Prior maintenance experience in a scientific laboratory + 5+ Years of Experience working on service work of Boilers + High level of boiler maintenance, troubleshooting and repair expertise + Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and familiar withCMMS + Maintenance Documentation completion and filing + North American Technician Excellence (NATE) HVAC Service Technician Certification + HVAC Excellence Professional Level Certification + UA Star HVAC Mastery Certification + Training from an accredited institution to maintain and operate boiler safety in accordance with New York State Department of Labor (NYS DOL). **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
