Who You Are
You’re a skilled and safety-conscious Boiler Operator with expertise in managing and maintaining boilers and related systems to ensure optimal performance. With a solid understanding of heating systems, pressure systems, and safety regulations, you excel at performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your attention to detail, technical knowledge, and commitment to safety make you a reliable professional in maintaining efficient and safe operations.

What You'll Do
In the role of Boiler Operator, your duties will include:
Monitor and operate boiler systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
Respond to emergency situations and take prompt action to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
Start and shut down boilers.
Conduct safety and maintenance inspections.
Track the water levels and gauges.
Requirements:
Must be a US or Australian citizen
Must Possess an active US TS/SCI w/ Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
A minimum of 4 years as a Boiler operator or in a similar role.
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certifications or vocational training).
Completion of an apprenticeship program or formal training in boiler operation, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.
Valid Boiler Operator license or certification.
Knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, combustion systems, and associated components (pumps, valves, gauges, etc.).
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficiency in operating control systems and monitoring boiler performance.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Critical thinking and collaboration skills
This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
