  BOILER OPERATOR (2nd Shift)
This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of low-pressure boiler equipment, supporting the facility's day-to-day production activities. The ideal candidate should hold a boiler operator license for low-pressure equipment and possess the technical skills to troubleshoot and maintain boiler systems.

There is potential for this position to transition into a full-time Facility Mechanic role, depending on the candidate’s skills and performance, expanding responsibilities to broader maintenance tasks within the packaging facility.

Responsibilities: Operate and maintain low-pressure boilers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Monitor and adjust controls, gauges, and valves to regulate boiler operations. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on boiler systems and related equipment. Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and conduct necessary adjustments or repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate logs and reports of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment. Collaborate with the facilities team on additional maintenance tasks as needed. Potentially take on additional responsibilities related to facility maintenance as skills align. Qualifications: Boiler Operator License for low-pressure equipment (required). High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or trade school Experience in boiler operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, preferably in a manufacturing. Strong understanding of safety practices related to boiler operation. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Willingness to take on broader facility mechanic responsibilities if the role transitions to full-time. #m1
