Boiler Operator Certificate
Good command of English language
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Boilers
Mechanical aptitude
 
Coal fired boilers
10 Ton Boilers
                            
 
Blow down Mowbray 2 times a day
Log steam pressure hourly
Test water for softness and TDS’s
Ensure that all water chemicals and peripheral equipment is in order and operating
Liaise closely with the cannery and growers on steam demand
Keep boilers clean and tidy all the time
To work in the workshop every 4th week (day shift)
Daily grease to all relevant equipment
Remove ash as and when required
To work shifts as communicated to you
Any other duties as and when required by the manager
