Boiler Technician

A commercial building located in East Chicago, IN is seeking multiple Boiler technicians to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

 

Previous experience troubleshooting boilers and chillers is required.

 

Description:

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and installing boiler systems within the hospitalTroubleshoot air compressors, boilers, generators, vacuum pumps and pumping distribution systemsOperate water boilers, chillers, steam generators and fill in for stationary engineers when they are outKnowledge of Chemicals working with boilersInstallation of HVAC equipment and troubleshootWork with hospital staff and communicate clearly with equipment troubleshooting/repairs

Qualifications:

Able to operate and troubleshoot boilers and chillersWorked in a hospital, industrial or commercial settingBoiler maintenance and HVAC experience

Environment:

Very clean and temperature controlled facility that stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Employees must wear uniform provided for work. In the winter, the facility is heated. Company also prioritizes promotion from within with employees.

Shifts available: 

1st (7am - 3:30pm)

2nd (3pm - 11:30pm)

3rd (11pm - 7:30am)
