BOM Analyst

Supervisory Capacity:               No Supervisory Responsibilities

Verification of Launch BOM Accuracy. Maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials and add/adjust required parameters. Establish and adhere to an annualBOM review process per the established procedures. BOM validation as part transfers from production to service. Lead BOM review meetings with cross functional team.   Participate in EngineeringChange Meetings. Participate in Launch Reviews. Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.   Quality System: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements. Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements. Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements. Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-relatedIT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements. Mustcomply with all company policies and procedures.  Employee must have the abilityto work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time. Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers andvendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels. Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).   All Employee   Specific Requirements  

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study: General Studies

 

2-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the field.

Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experiencewithin the automotive industry.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Working knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel, and Email. Previous experience with Inventory Control Planning and Supply Chain Management. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to process time sensitive information and meet deadlines. Able to accurately communicate to co-workers and management across all departments and functions.   Detail oriented. Basic understandingof Supply Chain. Knowledge of QAD. Ability to lead meetings.
