Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Northfield, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position that requires expertise in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. • Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Utilize QuickBooks to record and organize financial transactions efficiently. • Assist with month-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements. • Oversee payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. • Handle data entry tasks related to bookkeeping, ensuring precision and consistency. • Support the preparation of financial reports and provide insights for decision-making. • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for auditing and compliance purposes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential. • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes. • Experience with month-end close activities and financial reporting. • Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
