Description Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the dynamic team of one of our esteemed clients. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in maintaining accurate records, ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded, and supporting the overall accounting operations of a company. Job Responsibilities: + Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R): Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and verify payment accuracy. + Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by posting and reconciling general ledger accounts. + Monitor cash flow, prepare bank deposits, and reconcile bank statements. + Handle payroll processing and payroll-related reporting. + Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting. + Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed for management. + Communicate professionally with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies and manage inquiries. + Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory reporting requirements. Requirements + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). + 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). + Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general bookkeeping principles. + Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. + Excellent communication and organizational skills.
