Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The role requires expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial records, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping practices. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately. • Perform data entry for invoices and ensure timely updates to financial records. • Handle daily bank deposits and monitor account balances. • Conduct check runs and ensure proper documentation for payments. • Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare necessary journal entries. • Generate financial reports and provide insights based on data analysis. • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting. • Maintain bookkeeping records using QuickBooks and assist in transitioning to QuickBooks Online. Requirements • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. • Strong knowledge of accounts reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR). • Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with transitioning to QuickBooks Online. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Ability to perform month-end closings and prepare journal entries. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong ability to handle bank reconciliations and financial recordkeeping.
