Description Robert Half is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and play a crucial role in managing day-to-day financial operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and assist in ensuring the company’s financial health through precise tracking and reporting. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in the general ledger. + Balance and reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis. + Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including invoicing and collections. + Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning financial operations. + Handle payroll processing and reporting, including tax filings. + Monitor budgets and assist in forecasting financial performance. + Assist in audits by organizing and providing relevant documentation. + Implement best practices for managing and protecting critical financial data. Requirements + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Bachelor’s degree preferred. + 2+ years of bookkeeping or related experience. + Proficiency with bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar). + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. + Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation or similar is a plus. + Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. + Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
