Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in De Pere, Wisconsin. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth payroll processes, and supporting overall accounting operations. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. • Perform regular account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. • Oversee bi-monthly payroll operations using tools like QuickBooks Online and Gusto. • Handle month-end close procedures, including preparing financial reports and statements. • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions. • Enter financial data into systems efficiently while verifying accuracy. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks. • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and practices. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information when required. • Assist in improving and streamlining accounting procedures for better efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with expertise in accounts payable and receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Gusto for payroll and accounting tasks. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and month-end close processes. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis. • Familiarity with bi-monthly payroll operations and best practices. • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and bookkeeping. • Previous experience handling bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
