Description Our client is proactively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper to join their high-performing team. About the Role: As a Bookkeeper, you’ll keep our financial records updated, including managing various accounts, performing regular bookkeeping tasks, and producing financial statements. This pivotal role will require you to utilize both your stellar organization skills and your exceptional ability to pay attention to detail to maintain financial clarity in our organization, enabling us to better serve our community. Key Responsibilities: + Record day to day transactions including accounts payable and receivable, expense vouchers and cash receipts, and additional ledger transactions. + Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements. + Making bank deposits and maintaining ledgers. + Reconcile all accounts as needed. + Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Specialist to maintain a streamlined financial system. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper. + Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. + Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. + Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and QuickBooks.
