Beacon Hill Financial just teamed up with a growing Non-Profit located in downtown DC looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This person will be reporting directly to the Controller and will be involved in many aspects of the accounting functions. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.Prepare and process payroll in a timely manner.Track and manage donations and grants received by the organization.Generate financial reports, including monthly financial statements and annual budgets.Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing non-profit organizations.Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors on financial matters.Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
