Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper/Office Manager *Must have hands on general accounting and management experience!Responsibilities + Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. + Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. + Oversee and manage other staff members, ensuring productivity and efficiency in daily operations. + Coordinate and manage production schedules to meet project deadlines. + Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. + Handle manual accounting processes and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. + Utilize Deltek software for project accounting and management. + Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. + Manage per diem expenses and payroll for all employees. + Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders. + Leverage experience in the construction or engineering industry to support business operations and decision-making. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. + 7+ years of experience in bookkeeping and office management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. + Proficiency in Deltek software and manual accounting processes. + Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and lead a team. + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
