Key Responsibilities: + Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts. + Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of account balances. + Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments. + Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations. + Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management. + Monitor budgets and forecast financial performance as needed. + Comply with all federal, state, and local financial regulations. + Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as accountants and auditors. Requirements + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices. + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. + Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members. + Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
