Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our clients team in Charleston, South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative and financial tasks, contributing significantly to our strategic growth. Client is in the professional services industry, providing an exciting and challenging work environment. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and receivable effectively. • Conduct regular bank reconciliations. • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records. • Prepare financial reports for projects, tracking project budgets against costs. • Assist in the creation of proposals. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks. • Transition from current processes to more efficient and scalable systems using proprietary software. • Oversee payroll operations. • Use QuickBooks for various financial operations. For more information please contact jerome.johnson@roberthalf com Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations. • Demonstrated skills in Bookkeeping. • High proficiency in Data Entry. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Experience in Month End Close operations. • Ability to manage Payroll effectively. • Competency in QuickBooks software.
