Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in New York. As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a pivotal role in handling financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately, and assisting in the general operations of the financial department. This role is crucial to maintaining financial transparency and accuracy throughout our operations. Responsibilities: • Accurately processing accounts payable and accounts receivable • Conducting monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Managing data entry tasks for financial transactions and records • Ensuring all billing procedures are completed in a timely manner • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports • Assisting in the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting • Handling payroll responsibilities to ensure employees are compensated correctly • Keeping all financial records organized and updated • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout all bookkeeping tasks If this person is you, please submit your most recent resume to victoria.iacoviello@roberthalf Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Solid understanding and practical experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations. • Proven skills in Bookkeeping are essential. • Familiarity with Data Entry tasks. • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks. • Demonstrated ability in handling Month End Close procedures. • Experience in managing Payroll processes.
