Description We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts, reconciling financial data, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. + Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. + Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. + Investigate and resolve discrepancies. + Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and track accounts payable balances. + Generate customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and follow up on overdue payments. + Assist with or process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes. + Ensure timely payment of employee salaries and related obligations. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred). + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. + Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. + Familiarity with accounting principles and financial practices. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. + Excellent organizational and time management skills.
