Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the accounting sector located in Dallas, Texas. The role primarily involves maintaining the financial records of a school and church, with a keen focus on data entry tasks. Responsibilities: • Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks • Handle data entry tasks efficiently and accurately • Oversee the processing of payroll for around 55 employees using Concordia software • Manage Accounts Payable, including the processing of 15-20 invoices on a weekly basis • Handle Accounts Receivable tasks, specifically billing related to extended care services for the school • Conduct Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records • Perform Bank Reconciliations as necessary • Oversee month-end close procedures • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks as required • Carry out HR functions as part of the role's responsibilities. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring all bills are paid in a timely manner • Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all payments are received and correctly recorded • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate • Strong background in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records • Proficient in Data Entry, entering financial transactions into appropriate software • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, using the software for complex financial reporting and analysis • Experience in Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial transactions for the month are accurately recorded and reported • Knowledge in Payroll management, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time • Expertise in QuickBooks, utilizing the software for financial management and reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
