Description A growing business in Valley Center is looking for a reliable Bookkeeper to support their accounting needs. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a hands-on role and excels at maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring timely reporting. If you’re detail-oriented with a passion for numbers, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities: + Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and deposits. + Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities. + Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare accurate financial reports. + Track payroll information and collaborate with external payroll providers when necessary. + Manage data entry for daily transactions and maintain organized financial records. + Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial close processes. + Provide support to CPA or external accounting firms during tax preparation. Requirements + 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. + Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. + Strong knowledge of general accounting principles. + Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. + Experience in small business accounting is a plus. + High school diploma required; an associate degree or certificate in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
