Job Summary:
A client of ours in the Spring area is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract to hire basis. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and supporting administrative functions. This is an in-office role, where the ideal candidate will work closely with the team to resolve discrepancies, maintain clean financial records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department. This role is contract to hire and would interview and start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Accounts Payable/Receivable: Enter bills and invoices accurately, ensuring timely payments and reconciliation.
+ Transaction Reports: Generate and review transaction reports to identify discrepancies and errors.
+ Bank Security & Reconciliations: Maintain secure bank procedures and reconcile bank accounts regularly.
+ Deposits & Checks: Process incoming check deposits and issue checks as required.
+ Tenant Reimbursements: Handle tenant reimbursements efficiently and accurately.
+ FedEx Invoices: Manage and track FedEx invoices, ensuring all charges are correct.
+ QuickBooks Cleanup: Assist with cleaning up and maintaining QuickBooks records for accuracy.
+ Monthly Invoicing: Manage monthly invoicing, particularly for developer-related projects or services.
+ Credit Card Reconciliation: Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
+ Vendor & Contractor Setup: Set up and maintain records for vendors and contractors.
+ Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support as needed within the accounting team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Previous bookkeeping experience required; experience with QuickBooks is a must.
+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
