Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is critical in managing financial records, including sales, receipts, payments, and purchases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry. Responsibilities: • Conduct account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records. • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely payment and receipt of funds. • Manage bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Employ bookkeeping practices to maintain and analyze financial records. • Execute data entry tasks with precision and accuracy. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis. • Facilitate month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting. • Administer payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees. • Utilize QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online for efficient bookkeeping and financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all accounts are accurately maintained and updated. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), managing outgoing bills and payments. • Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), overseeing all incoming payments. • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are in agreement. • Solid background in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records. • Experience in Data Entry, ensuring all financial data is accurately inputted and updated. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing it for financial analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported at the end of each month. • Experience in Payroll, managing all aspects of employee compensation. • Proficiency in QuickBooks, using it to manage all bookkeeping tasks. • Experience with Quickbooks Online, utilizing it for cloud-based bookkeeping tasks.
