If you're a detail-oriented accounting professional skilled in managing general ledger transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial data integrity, this might be the perfect role for you! Key Responsibilities + Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. + Reconcile bank, credit card, and other accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. + Monitor financial transactions and reports, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. + Process accounts payable and receivable, including following up on outstanding invoices. + Manage payroll processing and ensure timely filings of tax-related payments. + Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accessible. + Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. + Work collaboratively with management to support budgeting and forecasting activities. Requirements + Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a related finance/accounting role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and general accounting principles. + Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
