Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in FARMINGDALE, New York. This role involves various operational functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and account reconciliations, in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities: • Executing accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Ensuring accurate maintenance of customer credit records • Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally • Monitoring customer accounts regularly and implementing appropriate actions • Handling accounts payable operations effectively • Managing accounts receivable activities meticulously • Performing bank and account reconciliations diligently • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Supporting other team members in various operational functions. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role • Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel • Proven ability to maintain and manage financial records • Experience with general ledger functions • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is preferred • Familiarity with bookkeeping software • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically • Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity in dealing with financial information.
