Bookkeeper
FULL TIME MONDAY-FRIDAY
- Calculates and records earnings and deductions
- Calculates and records vacation, holiday, sick leave, authorized overtime, leave of absences and termination pay
- Compares actual worked hours to budgeted hours for each department
- Generates a department summary report and obtains approval from Administrator
- Generates weekly payroll report, obtains approval from Administrator, and may submit to the corporate office - Investigates salary complaints and notifies employees of action taken
- Establishes and maintains patients’ personal accounts, receives money from family, resident or Social Services and deposits to aggregate account
- Maintains electronic ledger of each patients records
- Continually monitors accounts for the $2,000 personal allowance limit
- Assumes accountability for data contained in the Personal Policy Manual
- Consistently demonstrates responsibility, accountability and dependability
- Generates special reports as requested
- Communicates any Medicaid approvals with MMQ nurse and Administrator so that appropriate documentation is obtained and MMQ is submitted This job description, defining qualifications, primary essential and secondary non-essential functions, responsibilities and duties, is intended as a guideline for the employee and manager.  - Updates resident account notes in Matrix on a regular basis in regards to financial status, payment plans, communication with responsible party, etc.
- Cooperates with Corporate office, Administrator, and all other involved parties in the process of collecting monies owed to facility
- Reconciles PNA account on a monthly basis and transmits annual PNA report to the states
- Deposits checks and allocates to appropriate account in a timely manner
- Receives payments from residents and/or family members and notifies corporate office of deposit
