Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Modesto, California. In this role, you will be managing financial operations for a large portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of the financial processes of the business. Responsibilities • Accurately enter invoices into the system within the stipulated time frame. • Process payouts to property owners and manage the related management fees. • Handle payments to vendors, including utility bills, apartment bills, and duplex bills. • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and accounts receivable. • Manage security deposits related to properties, ensuring adherence to policies. • Carry out simple payroll tasks using QuickBooks. • Maintain accurate financial records using property management software for all properties. • Collaborate effectively with the management team and vendors to meet all deadlines.
