Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Sonora, California. The role will be part of a dynamic team in the industry, with duties revolving around maintaining financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, and conducting basic account reconciliations. Responsibilities • Handle accounts payable, including reviewing and entering invoices, and investigating any irregularities. • Manage accounts receivable, which includes reviewing, creating, and entering invoices as required, and researching any discrepancies. • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records. • Handle cash disbursements as needed and ensure electronic payments are processed efficiently. • Use Microsoft Excel to manage financial data and QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks. • Carry out month end close procedures to finalize financial transactions for the month. • Assist with payroll processing to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time. • Scan documents and store them in the appropriate SharePoint files for easy retrieval and reference. • Perform basic account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) • Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles and practices • Excellent Data Entry skills with attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data management • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of Payroll management and processing • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
