Bookkeeper

Job Description:

The Bookkeeping/Office Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial transactions, office organization, and administrative tasks. This is a hands-on position that involves balancing bookkeeping with general office management duties to support the company's operations and ensure smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and update financial records.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis.

Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings.

Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Office Management:

Organize and maintain office supplies, equipment, and records.

Manage schedules, appointments, and general correspondence.

Coordinate communication between different departments or external parties.

Provide general administrative support as needed to the team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management (at least 2-3 years preferred).

Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings.

Experience working in a small business or startup environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
