Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Beverly Hills, California, as a Bookkeeper. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations, with a particular focus on client trust account management and settlement disbursements. This role is in the legal industry and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the process of distributing payments to medical providers, lienholders, and clients as part of settlement disbursements. • Ensure accurate recordkeeping for client trust accounts in adherence to all regulations. • Handle regular bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online, such as tracking expenses and processing contractor/vendor payments. • Reconcile case expenses and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports. • Ensure year-end tracking for 1099 generation. • Ensure compliance with bookkeeping standards and regulations specific to law firms. • Contribute to our growth by maintaining accurate financial records and processes. • Accurately process customer applications and maintain customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Competence in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles • Skilled in Data Entry tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in managing Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with QuickBooks software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
