Our client is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to streamline their financial operations and ensure accurate financial management across their retail and e-commerce channels. Our client views this role as essential for maintaining precise financial records, managing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with Canadian tax regulations while supporting the company's growth and operational efficiency.
The Impact you’ll makeDaily Financial Management\nReconcile daily sales transactions and deposits\nProcess credit card reconciliations\nPost transactions including discounts and inventory adjustments\nHandle purchase order invoicing\nWeekly Financial Operations\nGenerate financial reports\nProcess journal entries\nManage bill payments and check writing\nMaintain digital and physical files\nTax and Compliance\nManage Canadian tax requirements (GST and provincial)\nHandle payroll processing\nMaintain loan/amortization schedules\nPrepare year-end documentation for auditing\nSystems Management\nOperate QuickBooks Online efficiently\nWork with integrated software systems\nMaintain accurate digital records\nGenerate required financial reports\n
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nMinimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience\nProven experience with QuickBooks Online\nStrong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations including GST and provincial taxes\nCanadian payroll processing experience\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nWFH Set-Up:\nComputer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.\nInternet speed of at least 40MBPS\nHeadset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam\nBack-up computer and internet connection\nQuiet, dedicated workspace at home\n\n\nYour Superpowers:\n
