\n\nWhy does this role exist?
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our fast-growing vacation rental software company. Your attention to detail, integrity, and proactive approach will contribute directly to our continued success and expansion.

The Impact you’ll make\nMaintain financial clarity and accuracy for multiple business entities\nEnable timely reporting and analysis for management and accounting teams\nContribute to the overall financial health and compliance of the businesses\n\n
Your Tasks:\n\nAttend to monthly financial reports, records of payments and adjustments, ledger data entry, and daily accounting tasks.\nOversee a company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, among others \nVerify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.\nExtract and categorize financial data from bank and expense statements\nRecord transactions accurately in Excel spreadsheets\nPrepare and organize financial data for month-end reporting\nMeet strict deadlines to provide journals to the accounting team\nHandle transactions from multiple businesses simultaneously\nAdapt to varying workloads and prioritize tasks effectively\n
What to Expect?\nMust be willing to work overtime. \nThe target deadline is the end of the month, ensuring the client can provide the journal to her accounting team on time. \nFlexible work hours within CET timezone\nThe rate is $7/hour. \nHigh attendance expectations. \nMust have no prior commitments that could affect work engagement. \nMust commit to a minimum of 40 hours a week. \nMust be able to commit to a minimum 6-month contract.\n

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseHard Requirements\nMinimum 6 months proven accounting experience\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel spreadsheets\nDemonstrated ability to categorize financial transactions correctly\nExperience in handling financial data for multiple businesses\nStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices\n\nWFH Set-Up:\nComputer with at least an Intel i3 core processor\nInternet speed of at least 40MBPS\nHeadset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation\nQuiet, dedicated workspace at home\n\n\n
