This position is responsible for immobilizing scofflaw vehicles, handling in-person customer payments via cash, check, or credit card. Also responsible for coordinating vehicle tows for eligible vehicles. This position requires the ability to handle customer escalations, large volume cash handling, and a professional demeanor. Work location is 700 Hargrove St., Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities
1. Patrolling & Vehicle Immobilization
Patrol the city of Pittsburgh in search of Scofflaw vehiclesIdentify scofflaw vehicles, immobilize by placing a boot on the wheelCoordinate & communicate with other officers & teammatesKeep accurate and thorough records in log books and processing system (Auto-process)Interact with vehicle owner/occupants, give information & provide direction as neededInterface with Pittsburgh Police & towing contractor as neededComplete daily report of patrol activities2. Customer Service
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor for in-person customer interactionsAnswer general customer questions regarding payment options based upon their unique account identification informationResponsible for closing and securing the payment lobby at the time designated by the company3. Payment Desk and Deposit Reconciliation
Receives payments from customers in personResponsible to secure monies.Provide change and balance cash drawerTrack and archive payment transactions and account notesBalance cash drawer and reconcile daily workCreate deposit and work with vendors to send to the bank and/or corporate office4. Release & Tow Dispatch
Communicate with teammates in the field regarding the release of booted vehiclesCoordinate Tows with tow contractorRecord towed vehicles in processing systemAssist with monthly unclaimed vehicle auctionSupervise citizen access to vehicles in secure police impoundAuthorize release of vehicles from police impound5. Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School DiplomaPrior experience in handling payments preferredAbility to perform basic mathematicsWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, OutlookBasic computer skillsValid Driver’s LicensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
