As a BOPS Ford Champ you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the efficient operation of the Product Development (PD) Mexico Delivery team. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will gain practical experience in various aspects of business office support, including resource coordination, budget management, data analysis, internal control, and IT application support. You will participate in projects, contribute to presentations, and develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
**What you´ll do:**
+ Assist in the development and maintenance of the PD organization chart. This includes data entry, chart updates, and potential research related to organizational changes.
+ Assist in the development and maintenance of PD budget requirements. This will involve data collection, analysis, and supporting the creation of budget documents under the supervision of senior staff.
+ Assist in the development of PD presentations for upper management and communication meetings. This will include data compilation, formatting, and presentation support.
+ Assist in coordinating PD projects and preparing control reports. The trainee will learn project management methodologies and contribute to the preparation of progress reports.
+ Assist in the development of presentations for high-level management visits and Town Hall events. This includes data gathering, formatting, and contributing to the overall presentation content.
+ Assist in the development and maintenance of the mountain chart for main workstreams and programs. This entails tracking progress and data entry.
+ Assist in Internal Control matters for the PD organization. This will involve learning about internal control procedures and contributing to related tasks under supervision.
+ Assist in supporting IT resources. This will involve working with IT staff and learning about IT infrastructure and support procedures.
+ Assist in analyzing PD Mexico workload. This will involve data collection, analysis, and report generation to support workload management decisions.
**What you´ll need:**
+ Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering Degree or a related field.
+ 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
+ Basic database management skills (willingness to learn SharePoint administration).
+ Familiarity with programming macros is a plus but not required.
+ A genuine interest in the automotive industry and vehicle components is beneficial.
