Boston Health Office Business Leader

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health team at Mercer. This role will be based in Boston. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Mercer is seeking an Office Practice Leader to lead our Boston Health practice. This role is responsible for leading and growing our Boston consultant team and client relationships.

What can you expect?

Leads and has overall accountability for the health consulting business, including revenue, sales and people management

Develops and implements the long-term business strategy at the market level in alignment with global and regional strategy. Provides direction and focus, holds staff accountable, and drives engagement through frequent communication and dialogue

Leads key client engagements and large, complex projects, directing the work of the project team, developing strategic solutions that address client needs and issues

Manages overall service delivery, clarifies and resolves unique and difficult issues related to client deliverables

Generates revenue through acquisition of new clients, cross-selling to current clients and extending current client engagements

Establishes and maintains market contacts, interacts with financial and HR executives, C-suite members, and other members of the business community

Supports and drives sales efforts and revenue generation within the region

Manages, develops and evaluates a team of professionals, providing effective performance feedback and career development opportunities

What you need to have: 

15+ years of experience in Health consulting with leadership responsibilities

Strong business acumen and self-starter with ability to drive and implement the office growth agenda
