See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality.** **Position Overview** **:** Improve overall Boston Whaler product quality by working closely with all Boston Whaler team members to drive quality at the source, and minimize resources required to achieve manufacturing goals with optimal quality levels. **At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.**
+ Ensure that chemicals and material are maintained within shelf life.
+ Maintain stock rotation.
+ Ensure that chemicals are clearly marked and labeled to include mfg. date, date received, Q.C. status, contents.
+ Work with purchasing to assist in chemical and material inventory control
+ Organization of all hazardous waste generated. Ensures proper labeling, consolidation and storage of chemical waste.
+ Assist with chemical spill clean-up operations when required.
+ Monitor and maintain a clean and safe chemical storage and hazardous waste area.
+ Assist receivers in unloading incoming material from the receiving dock to point of storage or distribution.
+ Offload foam and resin takers.
+ Maintain daily stock in Pre-fab.
+ Operation of fork lift for 7 or more hours per day.
+ Perform related duties as required.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
+ Must have at least 1 year of experience handling FRP related materials.
+ Must maintain current Hazardous Waste Management Certification.
+ Must maintain Boston Whaler Forklift Certification.
+ Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
+ Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift for 8+ hour shifts.
+ Ability to work overtime as needed.
+ High school diploma or GED required
**Shift:** This position is 5:00 pm to 3:30 am Monday through Friday. Overtime frequently required based on business needs. Boston Whaler reserves the right to adjust shifts and times as business needs arise.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $16.50 to $22.95, hourly. In addition to the base pay, a $2.00 night shift premium is included. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
