JOB OVERVIEW
Improve overall Boston Whaler product quality by working closely with all Boston Whaler team members to drive quality at the source, and minimize resources required to achieve manufacturing goals with optimal quality levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct product in process and final inspections of the productConduct audits to verify compliance with internal requirementsIdentify cause of process / product deviation and address corrective actionsComplete required documentation for inspection activityReview and document discrepancies noted during inspectionReview and classify discrepancies and initiate a formal non conformance based on impact and causeSupport production to clarify design and process requirementsFeedback issues / concerns to the point of originSupport corrective actions to improve Key Performance IndicatorsDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED requiredSolid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)Ability to read and interpret prints and standardsExperience as mentor level in production requiredMaintain mentor statusNMMA compliance specialist certification recommendedKnowledge of basic measurement tools requiredKnowledge of enterprise systems (EQMS, QC2, dwg print librarySHIFT & WORK SCHEDULE
The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.WORK ENVOIRNMENT & PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

Shop floor working environment. Shop floor is non-climate controlled. Temperature fluctuates with outside environmental conditions, such as air temperature, radiant heat from sunlight, air movement, and humidity levels.Frequent exposure to high-temperatures, including a hot and humid environment, especially during summer months.Noise level is moderate with intervals of spikesRequired to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and utilize other safety equipment and personal protect equipment (PPE) while present on the production/shop floor.Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, resins, fiberglass dust & cloths, epoxy, composites, and other chemicals. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of times.Ability to regularly bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, reach, climb, and lift or move up to 35 pounds.Vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required which may include respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits.Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Anything over 50 lbs requires a team lift effort.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. The work location may be 60°F to above 100°F ambient in areas of production.Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and to manipulate material.Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources.Be able to control mechanisms or use direct physical activity to operate machinery.The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.95 to $28.55., hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
