Holidays:                    32 Set Factory holidays in-line with Product teams.

For more than 150 years, John Lobb has maintained its founder’s unique expertise in the design and manufacture of men’s shoes.  

Custom-made shoes are still made by hand by the craftsmen of the Parisian workshop located on rue de Mogador, while the ready-to-wear collections are produced in the Northampton factory in England.

In addition to its production activities, the brand has a distribution network of some twenty directly operated shops in eight countries, as well as a highly selective network of authorised dealers.

General Mission:

•    Work as part of a team and on an individual basis working to obtain the daily/weekly targets ensuring quality is at the highest standard.

•    Ability to be trained on machines/production processes throughout the production area including when applicable cross departmental.

•    Able to prioritise the work to meet production needs.  

•    Be prepared to flex daily workload if required to take account of exceptional events, such as urgent tickets, machine break-downs, lack of materials, etc. and communicate to relevant Team Leader / Supervisor.

•    Liaise with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to address specific quality or production problems.

•    Ensure departmental machinery and equipment is in good working order and any problems are reported to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.  

•    Ability to train others once fully trained.


Qualities and Skills
    
•    Previous experience in the shoe industry (or similar) an advantage.
•    Exceptional attention to detail.
•    Self-motivation and able to work in a small team.
•    Good spoken and written communication skills

•    Accuracy in recording data.
