Job Summary
The Marketing Manager develops brand strategies and manages marketing programs to drive business growth by enriching the lives of pets and their pet parents.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Management
Develop and execute campaigns to support specific marketing objectives in support of our overall strategic marketing plan Creates annual Marketing Plans and oversees annual Marketing Budget Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels Work with other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors to execute marketing campaigns across all relevant marketing channels Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives and optimize accordingly Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets Organizes relevant events to support brand and category growthContent Strategy and ManagementContent Strategy and Management
Create and manage content for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support
Engage customers with educational and solutions-driven approach to content marketing
Assist the Head of Digital Strategy in defining the digital and social media strategy, as well as managing all digital assets of the brand
Category Management and Business Development
Develops and implements all Retail Merchandising initiatives, including consumer promotions, packaging requirements, and other in-store requirements. Collaborate with buyers and store executives to expand product categories and identify opportunity gaps Works closely with the Retail Director to implement tactical, category-driven campaigns that maximize category growth and visibility Handles business development initiatives including store expansions and renovation, supplier sourcing, and new business channels both online and online Mentors and coaches Pet Care Advisors on knowledge regarding products and pet parentingLoyalty Marketing
Develops and implement a customer-obsessed membership program and loyalty marketing initiatives that contribute toward improving customer lifetime value and building customer loyalty and retention\ Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leadsWhy Join Us?
