The role
As a Bowman Fitter, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll work as a part of the Bowman RIISM Team to manage the inspection, maintenance, and integration test of BOWMAN Vehicle Installation Kits (VIKs).
Day-to-day, you’ll carry out sample confirmatory inspections on vehicle or equipment BOWMAN VIKs, assist with preparation reparation, management and storage of both electronic and hard copies of documentation and records, along with carrying out detailed fault finding and repairs where requested to do so.
Provide to the Bowman Supervisor a list of any outstanding tasks required to achieve capability standard for issue. Provide data to the Bowman Supervisor to assist in delivery of contractually agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) Provide Bowman mobile support to other Babcock DSG sites when required.

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch.
Essential experience of the Bowman Fitter:
Mechanical fitting of equipment into vehicles Electrical Cabling of vehicles (Cable looms) IT literate in MS Office applications
Qualifications for the Bowman Fitter:
Bowman Level 2 or 3 Maintainers or equivalent experience
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
