This position requires expertise in agile methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic military healthcare environment.   Arlluk Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced BOXI (Business Objects XI) Developer to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects tools to deliver critical insights and support decision-making processes within the military healthcare environment.   Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The BOXI Developer will play a crucial role in creating and managing business intelligence solutions. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and analytics using SAP BusinessObjects tools, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Dashboard Designer. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements, translating them into effective BI solutions. Optimize existing reports and create new ones to improve performance and user experience. Develop and maintain universes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reports. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation, data discrepancies, and system performance. Implement security measures to ensure proper data access and confidentiality. Provide training and support to end-users on BOXI tools and report usage. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Collaborate with database administrators and ETL developers to ensure data quality and availability. Stay current with the latest BOXI features and best practices, recommending improvements to existing processes. Document report specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 5-7 years of experience in BOXI development, or Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in BOXI development, or PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience in BOXI development Required Skills and Competencies: Strong proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects XI, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Dashboard Designer Experience in universe design and development Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling Familiarity with ETL processes and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with agile development methodologies Understanding of data security and access control concepts Familiarity with healthcare data and reporting requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Desired Skills and Competencies: Experience working in government or military healthcare environments Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare-related regulations Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView Experience with SAP BW or SAP HANA Understanding of data visualization best practices Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for advanced dashboard customization Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques Certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Intelligence Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.    This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
