ResponsibilitiesSUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position ensures that manufactured components and assembled products meet company standards and objectives for the production of subsystems and systems. The Manufacturing Engineer monitors the overall production process, develops and implements corrective actions to improve product or process quality. To accomplish this, the Manufacturing Engineer continually works on products in the production area to strengthen knowledge and identify weaknesses in the product or process. The position requires an ability to work productively individually or as part of a group.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sustaining production processesSupport production to achieve on time shipment (OTS) and revenue goalsManagement of non-conforming parts (NCMR) and implementation of corrective actionsImplementing of EC (Engineering Changes)Participate / lead in NPI (New Product Introduction) projectsParticipating / lead in improvement projectsOther duties as assigned QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proactive work attitudeWork independently, strong team player, detail oriented, organized, and hands-onExperience with ERP systems on Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Documents. Experience with SAP is a plus Experience in low volume high mix environment is up plusBasic computer skillsMechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skillsAdvanced level reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of technical English language with fluent communication and presentation skillsStrong self-management and drive to get things doneMust be able to lift ~50 lbs.Willing to ravel on short notice for an extended period of time is a plus.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Technical degree in a mechanical or electrical course.Related experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment is a plus.
